NPO Discussion
Relationships are about more than accessing money
Strategic relationships, including those with business are often spoken about as essential for sustainability, innovation, and long-term resilience. What we don’t talk about is how hard it can be maintaining successful relationships. Often we’re not ready for the amount of internal capacity they demand.
We are thrilled to have Petrina Pakoe, Director of Peninsular School Feeding Association, join us for an honest conversation where we discuss the pros and cons of building relationships beyond pure funding agreements. Together we’ll explore the hidden challenges to capacity, systems, and expectations, but also unveil the surprise outcomes of intentional partnerships.
You will gain:
- A clearer view of the different forms strategic relationships can take
- Insight into what often makes them so hard to do successfully
- Clarity on whether you currently have the time, headspace and systems to invest in them for the long-term
