Taking innovative business development methodologies into Africa to create a sustainable culture of Entrepreneurship and Innovation clusters.
African Innovation Accelerator (AIA) is a set of online-based programmes offering education, support and mentorship to innovative entrepreneurs across the continent. All our programmes are offered online through live or pre-recorded sessions that cover all aspects of developing sustainable and high impactful innovation businesses for the people of Africa.
Who is this Programme for?
Our programmes are aimed at people in Africa who speak English and have access to some form of internet connectivity and data. Specifically, people who are currently involved or want to be involved in developing a business to help support themselves and others in their community. The businesses need not be tech-based but should show some form of innovation in their product or service design.
How is the Programme Delivered?
Our programmes are offered through video, webinar and live coaching sessions across multiple platforms that are conducive to the African environment and infrastructure challenges we face. Low-bandwidth options are available to help reduce buffering and interruptions in broadcasts.
What is on Offer?
There are a number of different programme and cost options available depending on the needs and budget of the participant. Organisational re-broadcasts agreements are also available for community organisations, NGO’s and religious organisations wanting to use our programmes for their members.
1. Free Weekly Webinars to Cluster Members
AIA will host a free weekly online open sessions on various topics related to business and the African economy situation. These sessions will include part discussion, part teaching. Guest speakers will be invited to discuss focused topics as the need arises. Sessions will be scheduled for every Wednesday at 16:00 CAT and run for 40 minutes.

2. Entrepreneur Launch Academy
A 45 lesson academy programme delivered via weekly emails that covers all aspects of small business development and implementation.
USD $150 or ZAR R2000
3. Monthly Business Coaching for Innovation
A live monthly programme that will address all things innovation related to the business world with topical coaching sessions held online with worksheets and notes.
This is a subscription only event. USD $12 pm or ZAR R150
4. Ideation for Innovation
A 4 X 1-hour lesson programme aimed at assisting people to assess their current environment and develop innovative ideas for business. Lessons are held every Wednesday for 4 weeks.
