Welcome to Nancy, your NPO Navigator. She is here to help you navigate the challenges, complexities and strategies that are running a South African non-profit organisation, without the cost and time-consuming process of contracting traditional consultants.

Who is Nancy

Nancy is your always available, free, NPO-focused consultant. You can ask her any questions any time, from simple compliance questions to thinking through complex implementation challenges. Nancy quickly gives you facts, ideas and instructions that are reliable and understandable. She saves you research time by collating & filtering information, applying it to your organisation and providing straightforward explanations that you can apply.

Nancy is a natural language AI tool specifically designed for South African NPOs. She leverages the power of Anthropic and references credible South African resources to provide you with current, relevant assistance (none of the generic, American-centric, useless advice). Nancy utilizes information on your website and your responses to her questions to give you personalized solutions that take your context into account.

How talking with Nancy works

  1. Sign in  for FREE with your email account, name, and organisation details
  2. Say ‘Hello’ to Nancy and give her your name and website address so she can tailor her replies to who you are.
  3. Ask your questions. There are no limits to how many questions you can ask.
  4. You have a 30-minute time limit, so Nancy is not sitting idle for days.
  5. If the time runs out and you haven’t finished your conversation, log in again. Your conversation will be stored for 48 hours.
  6. Export your conversation when you are finished to retain the information for later.

Information usage

  • We will collect the first question of each new session to use in anonymous, consolidated data analysis of South African NPO sector challenges and concerns. All save files are stored in secure cloud storage databases that comply with both local and international privacy regulations. None of your personal data or details about your conversations will be shared with third parties outside of EM Solutions.
  • Your name, organisation and email address will be added to our mailing list exclusively to send you updates, information and changes relating to Nancy. You can opt out at any time. We will not spam you. We will not send you any other mailing content unless you subscribe to another service.
